Gaining a greater understanding of the North Staffordshire manufacturing sector
The North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been representing the interests of local business for nearly 200 years and has a current membership of over 1000 firms.
Considered to be the ‘voice’ of business, the Chamber is keen to offer support to all sectors of industry and commerce.
In May 2007, the Chamber appointed Plinkfizz to help gain a better understanding of the region’s manufacturing industry.
We carried out independent market research to enable the Chamber to develop a strategy and offer the right help and support to manufacturing firms, allowing them to grow their businesses.
Following extensive surveys and interviews of local manufacturers, we discovered there was a need for a local manufacturing network, helping to put businesses in touch with one another.
Using our research, the Chamber has developed a number of successful seminars and a business support fair which attracted more than 30 manufacturing companies.
